Surrounded by deep pink frangipani trees, colourful bougainvilleas, Norfolk pines, almond and coconut trees, lots of mature cashews and little hidden gems such as tree orchids, the cottage is a comfortable affair, featuring two ensuite bedrooms and a powder room for guests.

Built in the 1960s, the property reflects the sense of size and proportion of the era and has has been well-maintained, emanating a clean feel, with its white-tiled floors and wooden louvres.

The roof was replacedl in 2000 and the kitchen renovated and updated more recently, but the original charm of natural stone and exposed wood work in the tall roof structure of the living room has been fully maintained.

The bedrooms are about 9 by 15 ft, with built-in closets and ensuite bathrooms (about 6 x 8 ft).
The house is used as a holiday rental villa for visiting guests and comes fully-furnished and kitted out with linens and so on. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms.

Best of all, is a lovely swimming pool in the garden adjacent to the house, with a nice deck for lounging about and enjoying the seaviews and sunsets out to La Toc, Pigeon Island and the neighbouring island of Martinique in the distance.
